Helping to keep you safe and get the economy moving
Like many UK businesses, we’ve experienced a downturn in orders as a direct impact of Covid-19. But were keen to keep things going and help the national effort to overcome the pandemic, so in collaboration with a local initiative supported by Locate in Kent, we turned some of our upholstery production to mask making.
We are making re-usable cloth masks from 100% cotton that have been independently quality approved to Afnor Spec S76-001. They are designed for non-medical key workers and the general public (not for medical use)to alleviate the shortage of PPE for healthcare professionals. Public health guidelines state that such face coverings do not protect the wearer from contracting the virus but can help protect others from asymptomatic individuals unknowingly spreading the virus. So we wear them to protect others when in public spaces, returning to work and of course when using public transport which is now mandatory.
We are proud to be part of the national effort to help beat the virus, and use this not-for-profit initiative to keep everyone as safe as possible.
If you or your company need a supply, we can take orders directly for quantities of 10 or more masks – please get in touch with your requirements.
Masks are made using strict hygiene precautions and come in individually sealed packaging with instructions for use and care.
